The wait is over....

I am 14 weeks pregnant today, and by now, most of you know that we are keeping it! YAY!!

 

 

Words cannot describe how happy I am to finally have my family.

Despite Mitch and I not being married, this is everything I've ever wanted, and Mitch is giving it to me! Maybe we are doing things a little backward, but I know in my heart that Mitch and I are going to be together forever, so in my eyes its OK that we aren't getting married right now.

I've already been to my first prenatal appointment, other than getting to hear the baby's heartbeat, it was just a bunch of questions and some blood work. I have another appointment September 19, unfortunately I wont be getting a sonogram until late September or early October, but by then we should be able to find out the sex of the baby!

I will happily keep you all informed!

A waiting game...

No one except Mitch and my sister know that I am pregnant.
I'm hoping to be able to yell from the roof tops very soon, just as soon as Mitch decides if he is ready for this step in our relationship and in our lives or not. If he decides that he isn't, I will have no choice but to have an abortion. (If you are reading this, chances are that he decided he was ready) I am SO ready for this step, and would love nothing more than to have a child of my own, but I am alot different than Mitch.
I am REALLY hoping that anyone in our lives that I am sharing this news with doesn't judge us. I refuse to force Mitch into something he isn't ready for or doesn't want. And I refuse to bring a child into this world whose father isn't 100% certain that this is the point in his life where he is ready for another child. This has happened to Mitch before, and I will NOT be the person who does it to him again. I am confident that Mitch is going to see things my way (for once), he has not really been against it, I think he is just having a hard time deciding if this is the right thing for us. For those of you that know him, you know he doesn't handle conflict well, so I am just giving him time to decide, no pressure. An unexpected pregnancy is scary, and I don't blame him one bit for being hesitant, like I said, he has been through this before and never really had any options.
If anyone has a problem with decisions Mitch and I made or will make, please feel free to find another blog to frequent. Of course, everyone is entitled to an opinion, but some opinions should be kept to ones self.
That being said, if Mitch should (hopefully) decide that he is ready for another baby, I WILL be the happiest girl on earth, and you will all know it!
As of today, I am just over 12 weeks along. My expected due date is March 12, 2012.
I am not really showing(maybe just alittle), and have had absolutely no morning sickness or any negative side effects that come along with a bun in the oven. In fact, I just told my sister that it HAS to be a girl because no boy of Mitch's would be this calm, gentle and good to my body! LOL!!!
Hopefully, the next post you all read will be nothing but exciting and positive... :)
